The Global
Association Instrumental Transcommunication (GAIT)
will cooperate with the Institute of Noetic
Sciences (IONS) in California, USA, in a project
to examining the claims scientifically among dimensions of reality.
The joint
announcement was made by Dr.Marilyn Schlitz,
Director of Research, at IONS and M.Dale Palmer,
International Coordinator of GAIT.
GAIT is a very loose association of experimenters, technicians,
theorists, and others interested persons in the world who have come together
for the purpose of scientifically authenticating such communications.
IONS is the
organization founded by Astronaut Ed Mitchell
to bridge the gap
between science and religion. Mitchell decided to form
the group after a spiritual experience while walking on the moon 25 years
ago. Today, IONS is headed by Winston Franklin,
President, and is composed of approximately 50,000 persons around the world,
including some of the world's top scientists. IONS designs and funds various
cutting-edge scientific research projects.
In South America,
the GAIT group is headed up by South American Regional Coordinator, Sonia
Rinaldi, of São Paulo, Brazil. Rinaldi has announced that
she and her group of experimenters will cooperate in the GAIT-IONS authentitication
project.
Dr. Schlitz
of IONS is recruiting top scientists to join the project and expects to
announce the make-up of the Project Research Team by the first of next
year. It is expected that laboratories will be designed and built to test,
replicate, and authenticate the communication phenomenon.
Palmer noted
that there are hundred of persons in the world now apparently communicating
with persons in other dimensions of reality by various electronic
means. The purpose of the GAIT-IONS project will be to scientifically authenticate
and replicate those communications using scientific methodology. Palmer
further noted that this will also show scientifically that man does not
die, and lives on in an individual conscious state in another dimension
of reality, exactly as taught by Master Jesus the Christ.
Further announcements
will be made as soon as the Project Research Team is finalized and laboratory
cites are selected by Dr. Schlitz.
